Ross Whitman, MA, LLC

Ross is a Limited Licensed Counselor in the state of Michigan. He is passionate about meeting people where they are and believes that understanding our story is central to the process of healing. Often times our stories and symptoms reveal the roadmap of our wounds, desires, and hopes. If we can tend to our whole story and emotions with curiosity, presence, and compassion, it can oftentimes lead us towards greater insight, wholeness, and healing. He would be honored to be invited into your story.

Ross holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and a bachelor’s degree from Hope College. He enjoys working with individuals dealing with a variety of issues and life circumstances, including obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, attachment and relationship issues, pornography addiction, spiritual issues, anxiety, and depression. Ross is a Christian and enjoys working with individuals from all sorts of backgrounds. He doesn’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach, but considers the whole person, and uses a variety of approaches, including trauma-informed interventions, parts work, person-centered approaches, CBT, ERP, and others when working with you towards insight and healing.
