Rebecca Parrish, LLMSW
Rebecca is a therapist who works with all ages, and specializes in child, adolescent, and family work. Her
approach is relationship-based and client-led. She has a compassionate, non-judgmental presence that allows her to support you on your journey. When working with children, Rebecca believes it is critical to come alongside caregivers, supporting you to understand what’s behind your child’s behavior, respond in ways that support healthy development, and care for yourself. Parents/caregivers can
expect to be actively involved in and benefit personally from the therapeutic process. Rebecca also seeks to make therapy fun and utilizes a variety of play, talk, and expressive arts modalities - she wants your child to look forward to therapy!
Rebecca holds a Master of Social Work Degree from the Erikson Institute. She has experience with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Domestic Violence, Behavioral Concerns, ADHD, Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, Parent-Child Relationship Support, and LGBT+ Affirming Care. Rebecca draws from Psychodynamic Theory, Relational Neuroscience, and Attachment Theory.
Led by each client’s unique strengths and needs, she incorporates approaches including Mindful Self-Compassion practice, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Parent-Child dyadic therapy. Rebecca strives to be affirming of clients’ identities and cultures.
