Hi! My name is Liz, and I am a child, adolescent, and family clinical intern completing my masters degree at Western Michigan University. I am passionate about children, couples, and families and have over seven years experience working in elementary schools as an ESL teacher, school behavioral support interventionist, and counseling intern. I have lived and worked in diverse contexts both in the US and overseas, and I am passionate about bringing cultural awareness and celebrating diversity in my practice with children and families.

I'm excited about working with clients from all walks of life, including those navigating LGBTQ+ identities, coping with chronic illness, experiencing grief and loss, going through divorce, struggling in school, processing trauma, and building self-esteem and self-worth. I offer a warm, relational, and strengths-based approach to therapy and seek to make therapy for children and adolescents fun and engaging by using play, art, and other expressive interventions. I am also happy to accept a $40/session fee to make high-quality therapy affordable. I receive direct supervision from a registered play therapist and am learning from clinicians with over 25 years of experience in child therapy. I look forward to partnering with you and your child!
